Recycling Grant App Process

Recycling Grant Application Process

Connect with us. You will be assigned a Recycling Expert.

Schedule a free site visit. Your Recycling Expert will conduct a free onsite assessment to review your current waste management operations and equipment. They will provide recommendations to reduce waste and increase recycling and food waste collections. If you provide your waste hauler bills, they can review your current service levels and make recommendations for potential cost savings.

Apply for a grant. You must complete a basic visit to apply for a grant. Your Recycling Expert will give you log-in access to our online application at system. They will help you fill out the grant application based on your improvement plan. Discounted pricing on common recycling and trash containers and accessories are available. These containers can be ordered as part of your grant application.

Places of worship (churches, temples, etc.) and surrounding campus buildings are eligible for one grant. College campuses and school campuses are each eligible for one grant.

If a church has more than one campus location, it could be eligible for additional grants. Additional grants must be pre-approved by the BizRecycling Grant Program Manager.

If there is a separate building and kitchen for daycare, preschool, or food shelves, these buildings could be eligible for additional grants. Additional grants must be pre-approved by the BizRecycling Grant Program Manager.

Grants to places of worship, colleges and schools must include an educational component to its members and include the projected number of people reached. Your Recycling Expert will help you meet these requirements.
